On 20 November 2015, he was recalled to Montreal for the remainder of the season after producing 23 points in 26 games. After that, he enjoyed the most productive period in his career, scoring seven goals and 17 points in 40 games. Andrighetto had a slow start at training camp before the 2016–17 season and was reassigned to the IceCaps. Scoring at more than a point-per-game pace in the AHL, Andrighetto earned another recall to Montreal.
